Hello, My name is Mikhail, based in Poland. I am a beekeeper with five year experience. I tend to keep local honey bees in as ecological as possible way. Wood and straw are materials I prefer the most for making bee houses: conventional, top-bar hives or skeps. I want to share not only my craft with you but also my passion to bees, nature and skeps.

OrderMake a skep from zero to a ready house for bees. I offer one full day (or two half days) practical activities in a group of 5-7 participants. You will have all materials and tools for making an own skep. I will provide an assistance in any moment. Also, aftewards participants can join a group where they can exchange knowledge, make contacts, and ask me questions.

You want to make your own skep whenever you wish? Buy a skep kit that includes all materials and tools you need: willow, straw, sticks, a cone, and a needle. Also, I enclose a step-by-step paper or PDF guide how to do the skep in English, Polish or Belarusian. The skep kit will be a good gift for your friend who loves DIY, crafts, bees and nature.

OrderDuring the lecture I open different aspects of beekeeping history with emphasis on skeps and ecological ways to keep bees. We also can discuss different approaches in skep beekeeping and how to build them (with demonstration). A visit of a place where honey bees live in skeps is also possible. The lecture can be useful for beekeeping passionates, lovers of nature and natural science students.

Individual workshop for person who wants to learn the skep creating process from zero to a ready item with master. Also it can include lecture and 3 skep kits. I devote time to you and/or persons you choose. It can be one or two days (around 8-9 hours in total) workshop. Every other details for negotiation.
